It's supposed to be in Sparta Kentucky, just south of Cincinatti on Interstate 71 -- by the Nascar track. They've apparently already purchased 500 acres from the former Governor of KY. They are consulting with Autobahn to set it all up in a similar way.

I talked to them for awhile, they seemed very legit but I'm always skeptical. A track less than an hour from my house seems too good to be true. They were wanting to know if we would move our DE's from Putnam to there.

Here the map: Here's the map link

Jerry,
Did youtalk to them at all about memberships? I'm curious what their definition of a "session" is. What track has their designer done elsewhere? I was hoping to get someone to call back today but no luck.

Yes, we did. I specifically asked him if they were going to price it out so high that most weekend warriors could not afford it and they said absolutely not -- but the $11,500 initiation fee will stop most, myself included.

I think the track designer is Paxton Waters. (site here)

There is also talk of one in Merriville IN. Same distance from Chicago as the Joliet, IL Autobahn track.

Any idea of what it would cost to build a track. I am hearing $25M.

In an email I was told that a session is 25 minutes.

Looks like some of the corners will put you down a steep hill if you go off. Reminds me of VIR a little bit.

Why do you say that? The new track up here in Calabogie is an Alan Wilson track and it's awsome. Lots of elevation changes and 23 corners, many of them blind. Good times.
