Default Where to buy 70mm Spring Perch?

Any suggestions on where I might find a 70 mm spring perch?

I'm installing spherical upper strut mounts (monoballs) on my 996 with PSS9, and having trouble finding a suitable perch.

Do you mean 60mm perches for a 60mm I.D. spring?? ...PSS9s use 60mm I.D. springs.

There are many suppliers that could set you up with those, thinking Smart Racing Products, CDOC, you name it.

Thanks Jeff. The Pss9 actually has a 70mm I.D. spring, which is why I'm having this issue...I can find several 60mm examples.

Your locale race car fab shop should be able to fab up an adapter to sit on top of a 60mm spring perch...or are you looking for the upper perch? That should be easy to just fab up as well. Wouldn't be much work on a lathe. That said, I've never heard of a 70 mm ID spring.

I know, its an oddball spring, I have no idea why Bilstein did that. I have 60mm perches on the front of the car, and that suprisingly doesn't make a lot of noise, but I know the spring is flopping around. An adapter might work, there really isn't much of a landing area for the spring though. I am looking for the upper perches, I'm installing the rear monoballs now so looking for the right part. I know I've seen them online but I can't seem to find them now.

Wow, that's odd, I've installed PSS9s on a 993 and a 997, seemed to me they were 60mm I.D.??

If they are truly 70mm I.D. that is PURE B.S. on Bilsteins "proprietary" part ideas.

Steve Weiner of Rennsport Systems or any Bilstein dealer could source these for you, I would imagine?

Yeah, I should probably check with Bilstein to see if they have something.

Agreed, it's BS -- not the best picture but I think you should be able to see:
