Another plug for Mark Hicks & Chin !!!

I instuct for a number of clubs... Chin is one of my favorites !!!

My last event with Chin was at Barber last September and I had two of Mississippi's finest.... as students. One is directly involved with choosing their Highway Patrol cars...

FYI... As I recall... the new models will have HEMI'S !!!

Also... a number of Grand Am drivers were in attendance... they had rented some race prep'ed Spec Miata's. They ran in groups of three's... and made you work for a pass.

Mine was the last post. I was simply stating a fact. As we all know, there is always slow drovers in Green, Blue and probably White. And always someone who complains about being slowed or stuck behind a train. You miss understood the intent, Mike. Not a flame. Just trying to get you to realize this is the way it is and will be for awhile. The pit in - pit out is how we are taught to deal with this inevitability.
The beginning drover who thinks he knows more than he does is the one whose toy comes home on a flat bed. You were getting good info. No one was busting your *****. Taking your ball and going home?

Rick Deman is going to be at the chin event, maybe if your really lucky he'll go out with you -- ask him. By all accounts he's an extremely fast driver and an excellent coach. He might also be able to give you some setup tips for your GT3 - or sell you some widgets to make you go faster.

Very funny Gary......

Rick, eventually we'll hook up at the track, I think it will be the Glen 5/30-31, then you can tell me what you really think about the new track car......

But to give Chin a plug here, since a thread devoted to them has been removed, Chin runs a good show! Yes its worth the money, especially if you are an advanced driver!!! Also a good club to instruct for! The best part about Chin is their "we'll treat you like adults until you force us not to" policy. They recommend point-bys in the upper groups, but they aren't required. And it goes off without a hitch. As of yet, they haven't had to treat us like children - which simply proves that passing without requiring signals does actually work in a DE

Brian
+1 I totally agree and will be instructing for them this weekend at Sebring!!
