Falls, best for the money.

Seneca best for food and drinks.

Truck, best for bed after a night at the Seneca with friends : )

My favorite is The Glen Motor Inn. The lobby and bar are filled with racing memorabilia, Vic and the staff are great an although the rooms aren't any better than Seneca, they have a million dollar lake view.
The Seneca's bar is not to be missed but IMHO The Falls has zero character. At GMI you can even request the Hurley Haywood room...

I've stayed at most of the places mentioned in previous posts and the Falls View is the best all around. Close to the track, clean, recently updated and a nice guy, Phil, owns the place. The HGI is the newest, has the most amenities but is a good 20 minute drive and is the most expensive.

Good Luck!

If you are bringing the wife, I would go the safe route and stay at the Hilton Garden. You know what you are getting.

I guess I'll be at the Glen Motor Inn again. Not sure if I'll be in the Zippo suite again or not. Apparently, Kelly-Moss has a block of rooms held. Anyone else staying there?

There are two motels I have stayed at in the past in town, small, but acceptable:
Villager Motel 607 - 535-7159
Budget Inn 607-535-4800

Absolutely nothing special about Hurley's room except the view...
