John,
I don't see any pictures. If you can email me pictures at whakiewes@aol.com or post them here I would like to see what you are selling. There is a very good chance I will buy them depending on how they look.

John, not to be a pain. Springs for the rear also? What rate? Sway bar mounts for rear? Obviously, buyer needs camber plates and rear mounts. Cables look short for rear. Where do you mount the canisters for the rear shocks? Looks like a nice buy. I may know a buyer.

I do not have springs for the rear. I donot have sway bar mounts for the rear either. Most of the remote reservoir shocks don't come with rear top mounts or camber plates. Not sure about the lines between the reservoir and shocks but I don't know why anyone would shorten them.

Back up for grabs. They won't work with what I want to do without spending a ton of money...more than just buying Ohlins or equivalent already made for my car. $500 as originally listed. Same condition as OP said.
Thanks,
Wes

I'm interested but have couple of questions.
With springs or just the shocks?
Wes (or others),
Will these work with regular 993 suspension arems etc. with camber plates front rear?

My set has front springs, and I can order you as many Eibach ERS springs that you want for $51 plus shipping. These are a bolt on for all 993's, and mostly 964's as well. They will work with camber plates in the front, and mounts in the rear. They bolt up to all factory hardware as well.

Wes,
Couple more questions:
Are these already rebuilt & re-valved or will they be done to my choice as said in original ad?
What are the spring rates for front?
And then to others (Chris?), what spring rates & valving would you suggest for a 993 that weights little less than 3000 lbs? (Aggressive track set-up).
Thanks.

Finn,
They are not rebuilt, and I would say they probably need to be to get them freshened. It is relatively inexpensive (about $80) shock and will make a tremendous difference. Compare the prices of these triple adjustable shocks to those of Ohlins, Penske, etc... You will see that these are a bargain, even rebuilt, with new springs. Myself, like John (the original poster) don't really know the value, so I am selling them for what I paid for them. I am sure I could make a markup, but its not important to me.
This weekend I tracked a 964 at 2685 with Bilstein RSR's, 650/800 with cup sway bars, built 3.8L (guessing over 300whp), and it felt great. I drove it on the street and track, very easy in both places. It was stiff, but not overbearing. It had great control, didn't understeer any, and any mistakes I made at the track it gobbled up. I would say that those spring rates are a good starting point.
The springs John included say 345-342 which makes no sense. I have purchased many sets of Hypercoils before and they all say the actual rate on the top (650 or 700, etc..). Thus I have no idea of the rate. They are a thicker coil than my 450lb hypercoils, and are the same 8" length. I am assuming they are about 5-600lbs/in. If I could figure out how to get them off, I would gladly knock a little money off, but I can't figure it out because of the location for the reservoirs. If you get them rebuilt and Bilstein can get them off, I would gladly buy them back for $50 or so.
