From weather.com:
Sat Mar 31 Mostly Cloudy 75°/51° 10%
Sun Apr 1 Isolated T-Storms 79°/51° 30%

Rain is unlikely, especially Saturday. For those of you unfamiliar with Atlanta weather, there is a 30% chance of rain every day from now through summer.

Looks great, the E lap record is not long for this world. I will probably beat it but some turbos will be even faster due to that L O N G S T R A I G H T, oh well!!

See you guys there (and let me draft you if you are a C or D car, will pay!!!)

I don't think I could draft your car for more than a few gears unless you throw out a tow hook, we'll work that out in a few days

Mike, have you thought about a bump draft instead? A well placed on at the black flag station would get you to the brake zone pretty quick! Just pray you are facing the right way.

The other option is to get someone to launch you out of seven.

How is the car geared, do you run out of legs early on the straight?

Just about did that at Sebring to a 964! But now I'm on probation so I won't get that close for a while.

Coming onto the long straight at Sebring I was able to get right up to the D class 964 in 3rd gear (could have bumped him) and stay with him for a while.
My car should be a rocket out of 7 due to low weight and good torque
(not sure if I will use 2nd or try to hold 3rd... used 2nd in the GT3 cup).
I could probably ram Larry's C car exiting 7 and stay with him through 3rd gear. After that, I have more drag and about 50 less HP so my car is slow in 4th and DOG SLOW in 5th. But I will be running big headers (more HP, less torque) and megaphones (more everything) so may not be so bad.

thanks!

Randy,

You'll be happy to hear that my car was running today.

"Gallito Rojo" is back!!

If I can keep it out of the Kitty Litter and If the rain holds off....good things could happen for the Rooster.

Y'all have a ball. I hear the spec Miatas were turning 1:42's on the new surface, so I expect at least the SP2 44's to match that.

I may show up on Sunday to soak in some rays....

If Proffitt would get off his wallet and spend some of his Benjamins he could probably turn a 1:43. Hell he was running 1:45's on old tires.

Campbell should be ashamed at only running 1:45's on Hoosier stickers and getting smoked by a SP1 car on Saturday

Landfried has come out of temporary 24 month retirement and made a good showing at the NASA race but, Gallito Rojo has not been on track since last May at RRR and he "Is Ready To Rumble".

Timo too bad you are not racing this weekend. We could try 4 wide in turn 1.

I'm not exactly sure what Gallito Rojo is , BUT, it sounds like they'll be feathers on track after I run over it and chicken for dinner!!

Good to have you back!

I only drive that far off line when it rains and when I'm lapping you while you're spinning!
