Dude, there are like 40 photos of her & the truck. You just have to scroll on the little pictures on the right side...
As an aside, that is a VERY serious piece of equipment right there, no lie. I used to drive those things for a living.

I'm going to want to hear more about this "living" on a separate thread or a PM

I tow with a V8 touareg with a 20' V nose atc. While I realize this is a comprimise I keep the speed at or below 65 being very careful. The cross winds are the only issue I have as the acc/braking is awesome. It seems around here many of the "dually" drivers are running 70-80 and at that speed they are taking at least as much risk as I am!

Well the question was Cayenne, VW or MB. Crap, optimal would be an F350 or Mack but who cares...The Cayenne is fine. I have the PASM, tow a 20' enclosed, steel w/a 944 and plenty of gear. It tows just fine. I don't have a sway hitch or stabilizer just a plain old hook up. I would strongly suggest the PASM for the load leveling other than that the Cayenne has been excellent.
Plenty of power, great around town, over 9 mpg towing, comfortable and easy to maneuver. Yes, a 20' Diesel or Excursion or Yukon or whatever else that can run down buildings would be better but for the number of days you tow per year, drive what you want to drive daily and be careful while towing your trailer.

I tow my 23' enclosed trailer with my Cayenne TT without any problems. Directional stability is excellent even at 75-80 mph. The wheelbase might be short but the air suspension keeps the Cayenne level and the front tires weighted.

Like what we do on the track is a rational and safe thing as well. With that logic about the trailers shouldn't we all be driving cars comparable to the safety of a car running in the NASCAR cup series?
You can only be so careful and so accomodating without compromising too much.
FYI.....all this talk about trailers and talk about on-track insurance has really got me questioning why I even have a hobby like this. I'm a gust a wind on the road and one missed apex away from being the next story that we are talking about on the boards. But then again, aren't we all?
See you this weekend for Zone 2 at VIR!!!!!

I'll keep an eye out for you. Are you going to be in the cup? Did you get the graphics redone??? I'll have my puny silver cayenne, 20' enclosed and the yellow 3.
Should be a great weekend. A bit on the cold side but still nice.
