I'll be getting the complete system with TrackVision and the RPM module. Still trying to decide between the lighter plug vs. the hardwire - Part of me would like to conceal it in the car and only have to put the antennae up when I want to use it. Another part wants to be able to share it.

I'm not sure I understand how the data information can mate up to video with the Traqmate vision software. Can I use my existing digital video camera? Can this system be shared by two drivers by moving the components to another car? Tried to call Traqmate to get more information but no answer.

Ron, you could always wire a hidden second ciggy lighter outlet... chances are that's what I'll do for the same reason... I want to swap cars sometimes but the 944 lighter is front and center on the dash, so I don't want random cords lying about.
I think I'll likely do the ciggy lighter method wired to a new drop behind the dash.

Trackvision was designed to be used with any video camera and Traqmate. Samples of videos with g-force circle, RPM, speed, track maps are all over the place.

Video and data are two different things. If you both have cameras, but want to share a system, that's fine (or move both camera and system). You have to synchronize the video to the data - the software does that. So, you load in users (Ron, David, Eric, etc.) into the unit before going out, and when each driver takes his turn, you "select driver" - then it logs data for that guy. Import the data to the computer, load in the video, and through software magic, it superimposes everything... Haven't done the process myself, but my friend Rodney has...
