Guys:

I haven't registered yet. Is black/red full?

One reason for the dealy is my lack of a trailer--but I just fixed that. Bought one Saturday.

Plus, I'm a weather wuss. I remember all those times I went to this first-of-the-season event only to be greeted by snow and ice. (If it rains, I'll tool up in the S4 and watch you guys slither around).

Assume everyone is doing VIR?

I'm going to blow off Lime Rock and maybe Mid-Ohio club races and focus on the Glen, Summit, and maybe CMP at the tail-end of the season. Need more seat time in the new car (a coupla decades ought to do it...)

Cheers,

Lee in D.C.

Not yet, but I do hope to get to Summit Point at least once this year.

Bill, let me know when you plan on running at Lime Rock Park this year. Good luck & hope to meet you in the near future.

They still have you in white, Bill? Try not to scare them too much

I'm going up for Instructor's Day on Friday. Hope the rain holds off all weekend. I can handle mid 60's and dry...no problem at all.

Hey there Bill!

I plan on attending with Karl S. from the DC area. I have a new car now, still in the learning curve, so you don't need to worry about me passing you with street tires in my big fat H20 cooled 996.

Still wish youd'a let go of your beautiful 993!

See you there.

Manny,
Have they moved you out of Black yet so you can run with the "big" boys?

Hey Chris,

Your new car sounds great! Will she give you 2:11 at VIR?
I am carring Fresh Hoosiers and P Zero slicks that have 20 coats of Formula V and Nitrogen. If I only I could stay on the line! If we get steady rain I will run my T1S Toyos and practice car control. 2 mile skid pad.

Richard,
I am shooting for Lime Rock Club Race May 3 & 4. Assuming my paper work is in order by then.

Manny, You are not staying for Saturday & Sunday? I am taking the instructors school at VIR in April. Not enough experience to instruct but should help me a bit.

At the risk of upsetting a few let me say this: I actually wouldn't mind if it rains a little.

Manny and I had a good time racing in the rain at the Turkey Bowl. A wet track makes an 84 911 interesting to drive.

If the weather holds out I plan to bring the girlfriend for some spectating. If she gets interested maybe I can justify the new seats a little sooner!

Hey Bill!

Once I get a few more hours under my belt, I think the new car will be good for 2:05 or 2:06 with gen-u-ine competition sticky tires or 2:08 with Hoosiers.

Kuhmos were good for 2:11.20 so we'll see!

Man, do I miss ABS!

But I dont miss the extra 1000 pounds!!

Bill your in white, excellant. Now I have someone to play with. Just take it easy on me and my water pumper!

Looks like minimal rain, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Look for us in the paddock, we always grill for lunch and always have extra's.
