You got one of the best in your area. Look up Joe Stimola. I know his name has been mentioned on this site so do a search. If not send me a PM or email and I will forward you his contact info tommorow when I am in the office.

Hi Bill,

I'm running a Speed World Challenge 996 Cup at the Sebring HSR race this week with Ohlin shocks. They were in the car when I got it and also needed info so I contacted Ohlin directly. They were more than helpful and were able to put me in touch with the right parts people. Look them up on the web and give them a call.

I'll let you know how they worked when I get back..

Bill, talk to AMF in Chesterfield (?) NH or Snap Dragon Motorsports in Mass. Joe is never a bad option either.

RE Suspension and Motorsport Spares Int'l are the top two places for Ohlins IMO.

They do the majority of the big players, and have the most knowledge and best connection with Ohlins.

Ohlins are my favourite damper, well, for the price. I worked with Ohlins USA to develop setups for BMW's, and I've consulted with the MSI guys, Scott at MSI is the Damper guy, very knowledgable.

Dynamics are the best, but you need a full time engineer to get those puppies right Ohlins are more of a bolt on application with a custom valving very easy to get. Sachs also has some sweet setups, definitely those are the top 3 companies.

Two other sources of expertise are Cary Eisenlohr and and Paul Lambert of Stasis. I believe that Stasis has assisted Farnbacher Loles in the past. Both Cary and Paul are very knowledgable.

Since Stimola is in the same state as you, your best bet probably is to go with Joe.

He can do custom valving and maintenance for your ohlins, but to be honest, you won't need to touch them for a couple seasons
