Post Cataracts and racing

Has anyone currently racing had cataract surgery? Has anyone who has had cataract surgery discontinued racing on your doctor's advice? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

As an Optician, I see patients that have just gone thru cataract surgery on a daily basis.

The surgery is a very simple operation and there is no reason why you can't continue racing after you fully heal ( few weeks to a month }

Your vision will be great also.

Maybe there is an Ophthalmologist here to give you any further details.
