Recommendations for non-Porsche DE

Recommendations for non-Porsche DE
I have a friend with a Z06 who would like to get involved with a DE program. In addition to Riesentoter, are there any other PCA regions in the Northeast that allow non-Porsche/non-PCA member cars?
I've done some research. Is anyone familiar with Sports Car Driving Assoc (SCDA) or Performance Drivers Assoc. (PDA)? They both appear to offer what he's looking for, but I'm not sure of the quality of their instruction or events.
I'm already familiar with TracQuest and will check them out as well.

SCDA is a good group, Ian Prout and his family run a quality event. There's classroom training, and the instructors are an experienced mix from different organizations. One thing different is that there is no set instructor/student matchup, instructors just hop into student cars in staging. Last SCDA event I did, I was paddocked next to a first-timer in a beautiful NSX and ended up riding with him for all four of his runs.
BMWCCA events are high quality, at least the ones I'm familiar with, the CT region events. Many PCA instructors (the chief instructor is a PCA guy), and a format very similar to PCA.
Haven't instructed with COM, but I know someone who does, and they have a good instructor program. I'd say they are a good group to run with, and very Corvette friendly (COM originally meant Corvette Owners of MA).
I don't have any experience with PDA.

Check out PDA at www.pdadrivingschool.com. My son and I and several of my friends attend their schools and find them very good. March 27 at Lime Rock is the next one, I won't be at that one but I will be at Lime Rock on April 11,which is the one after March 27.

In addition, Northeast region PCA allowns non-Porsches (may need to belong to BMWCCA)

And Allegany Region also allows other cars:

I've done their event at Watkins Glen and its very good.
Check Dale's schedule and you can access each host's site to get the details of what cars are allowed.

I run with PDA as well. I'll be at their next two LRP events and probably their july Watkins Glen. Lots of vettes there, btw. CarGuys runs a tight ship and will be at Watkins Glen at least once this year. TracQuest runs a great event and will be at Watkins a couple times this year.

NASA also offers HPDE's. IIRC, their website is: www.nasanortheast.org.
There's also:
trackmasters: www.trackmasters.com
trackquest: www.trackquest.com
While I have no experience with PDA, I know some people who have used them, and they run a very loose program (ex: no signal required for passing, passing allowed in corners...etc).
Just my $0.42
-Z-man.

I run with PDA regularly. They run a tight program. Point for passes are required and no passing is allowed in corners. In advanced groups the expectation is that drivers act responsibly commensurate with their level of experience.
