I will check out some of the Toyos on the way home tonight.
However:
1. Tacoma - no V8 option - not enough towing capacity.
2. 4Runner - Not a big fan of the traditional SUV look. Plus it is significantly more $$ than a Sport Trac.
3. Tundra - Holy crap is that thing huge!
-Z-man.

Damn, good point Gary. At least I wasn't towing my car when it happened. I was on the way to pick it up ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Maybe I can get it all over with before the track days start.

Huge waste of money.

I think a v8 4runner w/ 7,000lbs capacity would be a good choice. I was going to get a new truck, but decide on the Nissan Armada SUV(9,000lbs capacity). I have an open trailer and got to thinking, I didn't want to have to unload the open truck bed with all my supplies/tools/spares when I stay at the hotel. With the SUV, I can leave them locked in the back.
Also, if I do stay at the track, it makes for a nice place to sleep. (I'm only 5'8" so I fit comfortably in the back area.

I have slept quite comfortably in the back of my Yukon XL, and plan to do so again this coming weekend.
Remove the 3rd row of seats, put down a comforter & pillows, and presto! Instant *******' Wagon!! I'll crack the windows slightly to manage the methane concentration, and I sleep very well.
I am 6'4" tall, by the way, and have plenty of room w/o even having to be diagonal.
