Post helmet back from airbrushing !

Sent my helmet out for painting 5 weeks ago and it just came back. It is an OMP Toursimo sedan helmet.
Needless to say, the results exceeded any expectation I could have had.
Brad and the guys at Bullseye Visual are amazing.

Here are some pics:

Nice!

Where are these guys & how much approx. they charge for a job like this?

I've been looking to find a shop around here with no luck (I haven't looked too much yet though).

Timely post. I have a friend down in Atlanta that is just starting to do this stuff. I gave him my old (2000 Bell M2) to play around with. I picked it up two weeks ago at Roebling. Unfortunately the pictures don't really show the color very well.

Flying Finn,
Here is a link to their contact info web page:
<a href="http://www.bullseyevisual.com/contact.asp" target="_blank">http://www.bullseyevisual.com/contact.asp</a>

Here is a link to their pricing page:
<a href="http://www.bullseyevisual.com/painting.asp" target="_blank">http://www.bullseyevisual.com/painting.asp</a>

I went for the $100 rush fee (with the Indy 500 coming up, if I didn't get it before May, it would have ended up being mid-late June)+ the visor with hand painted Porsche crest.
I'll have to find the receipt (I just gave them my credit card).....~$700 or so.
No idea how many colors they used; I know I just love it!

Very easy to work with, alwasys kept me up to date on status. I'm artistically challenged, so I just told them to have fun!

I recently painted my helmet, with some leftover black and Kandy Tangerine left over from a Harley I had painted for a friend.

I kind of did it on the spare-of-the-moment and didn't really do any planning regarding what I would like to actually have on the helmet. But, I'm OK with the result.

Thanks!

I've done some 'airbrushing' (helmets, harleys, cell phones, cars) back when I lived in Finland & I still have all the equipment and was thinking after I've moved to a house (with garage) to start doing some painting with Porsche buddies.

$700 for that kind of job doesn't sound too bad, painting stuff like that with multiple colors, masking etc. is quite time consuming, and takes a lot of patience...

Pricing sounds quite nice (so that iw would be worth of doing for me) so I better look into this more once the house business moves ahead!

Brian,

Simple but does it's job well, quite good!

I spoke to a lady at a recent track event that does alot of custom helmet painting. She told me that her going rate was $800-$1200 per helmet depending upon what was requested.

Their $700 price sounds extremely good based on the end result.

Brian,

I was just about to plug your name in for some work at a better price. The helmet and cycle parts were fantastic looking.
