8.31 vs 7.31 Ring and pinion...
Hi all,
Just kicking around installing a shorter ratio. I have a 915 trans with the stock 8.31 and 315/35/ZR17 tires, seems to bog down in tight turns on short tracks so I thought the solution would be to go shorter which means I'll be in 5th more on big tracks. Has anyone made the switch ? Any pro's and con's would be appreciated ! Thanks!
