Post Pagid Yellow?

Has anyone used Pagid Yellows? I've noticed an ad in Panorama that says something like "Go pro, go Yellow". The caption is under a picture of one of the TRG GT3-RS cars.

How do they compare to Pagid Orange?

The yellows (RS-19)are an endurance pad, slightly thicker and longer wearing than the orange (RS-44) pads. The oranges are a bit softer. In a 24 hr race, you the yellows will typically last around 18 hrs, and even than usually you change only the front pads -- I have heard of some teams not even having to change pads at all. Neither the yellows or the orange pads are recommended for street use. The can be prone to squeaking and don't work well at low temps. I emailed you a matrix comparing the various pagid pads.

Hope this helps!

I know all about the squeal of the orange pads...it's quite embarrasing to have your Porsche sound like a city bus at a stop light!

Thanks for the comparison chart.

Glenn,
Mine came with yellows. I only have 2 events on them so far but they seem to work well. They definitely last longer than oranges.

Jay,

Thanks for the info...where did you get the manual for your car. The previous owner of my car did not have one.

Glen,
Drop me an email @ royalbcat@netscape.net with your address & I will shoot you a copy. It's in German but it still helps.

I was lucky on my car. I got a bunch of paperwork inc. the Wagenpass, manual & some paperwork from when it was club raced in Italy. I have since managed to find a whole website dedicated to the car when it ran Daytona in '99 for M.A.C. Racing & I have found several pics of it in the "Porsche Sport '97" book when it ran the Supercup series. My icon over &lt;&lt;there is a pic of my car at Hockenheim that I found on the 'net. Do some digging. You might be surprised what's out there about your car <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

Thanks for the offer Jay. I found a manual locally for a 96 and it is in (broken) English and German! I'll be making photocopies soon!
