Post 944 race car 225x45x15 vs 245x45x15 vs 16's in each

I am in need of some new tires and I was wanting some help on which ones.
It seems that the Pilot cup tires are the way to go for long life and drivability. But which size would be best for 944 that is a track car only.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Over the past 5 races I have really grown to love my Toyo RA-1's in 225/50 R15 on 15x7 wheels.

They seem to last a long time, have even grip over that time and have nice break-away charateristics.

Hoosiers are faster I am sure, but cost more and wear faster, Michelins are really nice, but I can't get into them a $200 each.

Personally I think the 225/50 R15 or 225/45 15 size is perfect for stock powered 944 NA race, track or autocross cars.
