Hey JC,

No it appears not, as in '02. Can we organize one?

There is a place in Sebring that has a 14 foot alligator inside. I think it is called the Watering Hole. That seems to be the place to go for a lot of these driving events. You can also eat at the Chateu and the many chains in Sebring. There are also plenty of oranges around to satisy your vegetarian cravings.

My favorite track in the world is Road America, but I make do with Roebling Road.
Speaking of Roebling Road, I have rented it for
July 1 and 2, 2003. I just bought a 1974 Carrera
this week and I am new to the list, but for those that have properly prepared cars and gear, please consider coming down and running the track in a relaxed fashion. This is the 3rd year in a row that I have rented the track during the week of the 4th of July, as It works out well to combine it with a trip to the beach (Hilton Head Island ).
Is there any interest ?

Hi Bill,
Two groups:
Group 1.)Pass with signal (DE)
Group 2.)Pass without signal,comp lic.,
We have had 10 to 15 of us . We have corner workers, emt, etc.
various types of cars.Last year we had Gene Felton of Trans Am and IMSA fame, as well as Robert Tornello, the 2000 HSR GTP champion overall.
We also had people that had never driven on a track before, but limited them to driving a session and sitting out a session so that they could get instruction from someone with more experience.
Obviously there is room for a few more cars to come, so feel free to join us Bill.
Johan
It can get pretty hot on the track in July.....but not as bad as sitting on the beach.
