Bob: Could you elaborate on the required "passport numbers" and the 5 BC fire extinguisher.
Thanks
Jack

First the passport: No problem. It will be given to you (there may be a very nominal charge), that will have your info and permanent car number. The car number is your passport number. This is the number that will be on your car the same as any given car number.

The 5 BC fire extinguisher is a standard race car stand alone extinguisher. Not the fire system. The 5 is how many lbs it carries and BC are the types of fires it will extinguish. They are fairly inexpensive.

Get the extinguisher, the passport will be given at the track.

Jack, it's as Mitch states.
The passport may actually not be ready for Homestead, but no worries because we intend to have a booklet of some kind until the permenant ones are completed.
FYI, up north years ago when I started doing this stuff, it was a requirement to have a fire extinquisher fitted all cars. I'm not sure they still require it, but it seems like a good idea to me in any case. Mine is attached to the bottom portion of the passenger seat.

Dan, are you talking about SS confirmation at the Homestead event? If so, I take it that Winterfest will also have supersolo too, right?

Yes, I got my confirmation from Joanne today, the schedule has Solo/Instructor as one group and SuperSolo as another.

Not very likely that Winterfest will have it. Just too crowded and too busy according to Bob V.
Next most likely go 'round will be in April.

It is of course a "draft" schedule. Final schedule to be distributed at the event.

Rich: Re: Maiden Run for Homestead; for Wintefest: I believe Thursday and Friday will have SuperSolo (maybe), but not for Sat and Sun...all not fully decided yet.
Jack: direct your questions to me and perhaps I can help. I believe I may have sent you an email, but ask away.

Proforma schedules have been sent (always subject to change, though) to all registrants. SuperSolo will get started at this next Homestead event. We plan on having an early drivers' meeting where most issues and concerns will be resolved. If you want to be considered for SuperSolo, by all means let me know.
Send me a brief driver's resume (current run group?, how long in it?, instructor?, etc.) via email and I will revert soonest. The number of drivers permitted to run in SuperSolo will be limited.

How do you get permanent Number for SuperSolo, in race group mine is 98 and I would like to keep the same.
Had to cancel Homestead, getting lasic redone on right eye Friday before. Seems to always be a reason not to go recently. Actually canceled this time. Hate to miss first SuperSolo. Cayman not ready anyway, no roll bar, etc.
GT3 RS ordered so I may not set up Cayman S. Makes little sense for a short time.
Bob S. needs to buy it, lowered and bars makes the car turn great. May sell before RS gets here.
Cayman is so easy to drive that I am a little nervous going back to 911 but the 997 GT3 RS is hard to resist.
May do January PCA at Moroso. However, just drive since I suck at instucting and hate to have Mitch fail me again even though much deserved.
Anxsious to see how Hometead goes, have fun!

Email Joanne at JSwarzmann@cfl.rr.com and ask her. You will probably need to put a one in front of it as in #198 since it will be the 100 run group.
I just got 176
We will miss you (again).
Do both days in January everyone will be nice to you we promise!

As Dan mentioned, contact Joanne and she will assign you a 100 series number. One of the great things about PBOC is that the number matters in DE. It makes it easier for gridding, track and car control and flagger control.
Dan, are you still looking for instructors for Jan at Moroso? Let me know as I have not registered yet and trying to figure out my schedule.
There will be a drivers' meeting for everyone, of course, as well as a separate meeting for SuperSolo.
