Default Effect of brake fluid on tires?

Sent the calipers out for a rebuild and thought I had the lines capped. Some fluid leaked down and the tire sat in it for a few days. Motul 600, if it makes any difference. Is the tire toast?

Brake fluids are compatible with rubber, they have to be as brake systems contain a mix or rubber and or synthetic rubber compounds. I would clean the tire with soap and water and let dry. look to see if there is a difference in the area that was wetted by the fluid and where it was not.

Easy trick. Before you disconnect the lines push the brake pedal in about 1 inch or so and prop it with a stick. This will keep the fluid from draining out. Some might cross drain from one side to the other if more than one line is open but the tank will not.
