Default Dealing with egos - advice for a "girl" driver??

Adrienne...I have found that a social visit to the pit of the "unneighborly" fellow-driver tends to put this issue aside. It's one thing to have an anonomous driver that is a "girl" pass you...quite another to have a fellow rat hashing it up with you in the pits and then smoking your butt in a turn. From my experiences, it's an ego thing because there are still too few of us comfortable in that seat. Trust me, I am all girl, but on the track, I am all driver and that's what they have to deal with. Humor helps. Not an authority, but just my experiences.
