I have a chance to buy a used teq bar, gt3 seats (leather not cloth), harnesses (driver and passenger side), extinquisher & mount. They look like they're in good shape. What price do you think is fair or even good?

That's a tough one. I bought a Momo seat last spring, and payed about 3/4 of the price of new, which is usually high for used stuff. But seats are hard to buy used. Most people keep them, and when they go on the market a friend usually buys them. That's why seats, springs, shocks, sway bars, usually get more than the usual half you pay for used, and that is because they are such a pain to take off, and then you got to put the old stuff back on, if you kept it. I would guess most racing seats go with the car when it is sold.

I would not be surprised to find that when you go back to the guy with that stuff, it is already gone.

Do a search then ask on the Rennlist GT3/GT2 board. Those parts come up for sale on there a lot.

My rule of thumb for anything used is 50% - 60% of new. If it is really nice and / or rare, maybe I'll go up to 75%. This is my max.

That's what I was told, 50% min. 70% max. on used stuff depending on condition.

Thanks, I pulled the trigger at about 55% of new.

I'd be less stingy on the roll bar assuming it's in good shape...it doesn't wear...seat and belts wear or have a lifespan.
