The baking must solve the problem of moisture leaking from the seams

The baking process is done prior to the dipping process, although for an additional fee, you can have the car "dryed out" in the furnace afterwards.

If you mean after a solvent based stripping and the goo that can leak out Yes it does. Makes welding the seams easy.

The heat does not warp anything that i can see. The body lead sloughs off and I found out that the aluminum spacers under the door hinges are better left off during. I wet the fenders and doors and inspected them with a light and they look true. Not that it matters for what i am building.

Has anyone else done this kind of stripping since this thread started?
Does RediStrip in Allentown still exist? Same owners? Same process?
