I dont mean to wander away from the main topic here (Daytona), but I just cant let this one go without comment:

Greg's Terry Heath story just shows that anytime you want to make a class change or jump, make sure you do your full homework ahead of time. Best to get pre-approval (in writing) for the update/backdate - otherwise you are risking your wknd of fun (and $ invested) in the hands of a potentially unknowledgeable scrutineer.

See photo below of a Kelly Moss Firehawk car taken at Road Atlanta during an '89 Firehawk race (note the door mirrors, steel hood, and sunroof).
