I can tell you that I had problems with 285s on the rear when running the bowl at Pocono last July, after being told by Hoosier that it wouldn't be a problem with the new R6s. A couple more laps would have made things very interesting. Hoosier replaced them at no charge, saying they were early production problems...but replaced them with 295s, which i now run.

I ran 285's on my 993 during RRII but I was very careful with them and used two new sets for about 5 sessions. None of which was longer than 25 minutes. An enduro might be a different story.

I just talked to my shop...they suggested starting at about 1 degree more upright on the right side than we normally do and check temps during the first session or two. Given that 944s are fairly balanced front/back it's likely that we won't load up a corner as much as a 911 would.

BTW...he also told me that my car may not go fast enough to matter very much either.

I've heard everything from a half less to full upright on the right.
I figure we'll have Friday to see if a degree less works best or not.

I've been talking to Chris Cervelli, and he feels that the stiffer your suspension, the less effect the banking will have on the tires. One thing that EVERYONE who knows says is to run around 4 lbs more than usual in the right side tires, and check those temps.
