I will show you when you come over..nothing touches it. not even brake klean. My person favorite.
That Crud Thug I have rips the stuff right off. if you are careful with it you can just take off the rubber and not touch the primmer.
makes for a clean car when done.
I think the first stuff I tried to get off took weeks. now I can do a wheel well in about an hour including paint. LOL

If Bob says it won't come off, it won't come off with it. I have only done this with a 914, so I will have to take Bob's advice. I can't wait to put Bob's "Crud Thug" to work on our 924 project this winter. We'll have to take pics and post them on rennlist as we go.

Why mess around strip the whole thing to the and get the stuff burnt off.( Might be a bit of an overkill for the above work...)

I get my nice clean tub back on the 14th. Plasma cutter, Tig and two tanks of Argon are ready to go. Flip, seam weld, flip back lock in jig and cut off anything that even looks heavy.

tinmann. Does the Crud cutter look kinda like a wire wheel but the wires are formed into loops on the ends?
