Installation of DAS Roll Bar in 996 GT2
Hi Gang!
I've searched and can't find an installation instruction that tells or shows where the "feet" bolt to behind the seats on a 996. Do they bolt up with the seat belt bolts on the sides just back from the seat.?
The 993 bar is different than the 996.
Thanks for any help Steve

the "feet" bolt into the base of the B-pillar at the seatbelt mount. I'm sure that you could call CDOC and they'd give you the basic installation information.
Keep in mind when installing the rear mounts to make sure that you leave a little "play" to get the front section of the bar attached. Once the bar is together, then go back and tighten all of the bolts.
Also, the install is easier if you remove one or both of the seats.

the "weekender" bar simply bolts in to the rear strut mounts and the base of the "b" pillar. For club racing, they sell the necessary ingredients to weld the cage.
For simply DE, I'd go with the bolt in bar - and did.
