A big thumbs up for Kevin Rousch for winning the Imsa Porsche cup at RA this weekend. His qualifing lap of a 2.14 was simply unbeliveable. What an amazing time from a stock factory built cup car.

He was superhuman last year, this year he has been mortal till now. I wonder what happened to Sean Price, he was also crazy fast (faster than Kevin), will have to ask the guys at F-Ls.

It looked like Price was nudged either going into t7 or t8. He ended up in the pea gravel off of 8 with a right rear down. It was a great race but way too much time under yellow. Kevin looked great.

It was a great race, even for how short it was. I haven't seen that many yellow flags during one race since the SCCA Spec Racer Ford Group had multiple car pile-ups on at least 4 different corners on the 1st lap.

Simply amazing seeing that many 911's come charging out of the pits. Too bad there wasn't a white 928 in there mixing things up.

Here's a pic of Kevin's car in the canada corner. Pretty painful to watch the race to be honest. I think they only came through turn 12 once or twice without a double yellow showing. The rest of the weekend was good for the group though. I have about 5000 shots so if anyone else was needing shots of their car I might have some. I saw a video of one of the wrecks on google video. Going up the hill after turn five someone hit the wall at the bridge. Should be an easy one to search

Also lap times were pretty quick this year every group was setting fast laps by over a second it seemed.

anyone catch the near fight in the paddock? I was standing next to the Kelly moss trailer as the guys were coming in after the race and two guys(i believe driver of 42 car and driver of 69 car...could be wrong about the car numbers) got into a scuffel. One of the guys started pounding on the door of another in the car and the guy in the car got out.Oneof the crew members had to break them up because they were ready to swing. There appeared to be no damage on either car. It was out of the ordinary at a track event, but a little exciting to watch non the less
