Looking for suggestions on a cage builder for a 944 in the Orlando, FL area or in a 250 mile radius that's worth traveling too.

 

Try calling Nort Northam--if he can't do it, he will know who to recommend.

 

My friend's cage in his 944 was subbed out by Klubsport, a race shop in Lake Park (West Palm). Phil Bagley is one of the owners and should be able to put you in touch with his builder. (561) 844-8752

 

I'm also wondering where to get this done in the Orlando area. I was thinking of trying Irish Mike's http://www.irishmikes.com/raceshop.htm or Ron Zitza at Zotz Racing http://www.zotzracing.com.

I would try Dave White in Tampa. He's got a ton of experience with 944's and a great cage guy.

 

Tommy Riggins in Jacksonville did my ITS 944...a pro job at a resonalble price. He did it complete with window net and the works...turnaround was three days. He has done numerous Porsche cages in this area. His shop is Riggins Engineering.

 

Stratton Motorsports, the shop is south of Fairbanks between Cherry and Harold streets. If you know where Lindas Diner is, then just turn down (south) off Fairbanks and look for all the Porsches! If you were to Call Nort, then this is where he'd send you as Gary built his 924GT racecar.
