Default Center lock wheel/hub ??

Do center lock wheels connect directly to the half shaft or to the hub?
Do cars w/ center lock wheels use the same half shafts as cars w/ "normal" lug nut application?

Thanks,

The centerlock wheels in the 964 and on cars use a modifed C4 hub which has drive dogs instead of studs. The front uses special stub axles that the center screw threads on to. The rear center screw threads onto the drive axle instead of a nut. The rear hubs are machined similarly to the front.
