Call me curious - my memory is fuzzy. The 20+ car pile-up at RA is on the top of my list from the 2005 BRIC.

Most likely whatever it is, Paul Tracy is in the middle of it and probably the cause.

Ever? That's a tough one. This year? Letting Eddie Cheever drive an IRL car at the Glen.

I can see this is going to be a good thread.

How about putting Ghettoracer behind the wheel?

Yeah, but did he actually ever race? I thought that all he did was beat up on novice drivers at DEs? At least that's all I ever saw in his videos.

Since both series are changing cars anyway...there will be a lot of junk IRL and CART cars sitting around...open your mind real wide now....Cheever vs. Tracy at Long Beach, Portland, San Jose or any course with a fast straight into a slow small radius corner. First one through turn one in one piece gets to keep racing in the new CARL series, loser goes to Nascar. Keep putting them in new cars and restart until someone wins....could be a long day....run out of cars and they both become teamates of Tony Stewart, which should be the case anyway....

GR's memorable racing career began by wrecking one of Lucas Hopkins' SM rentals in a NASA race @ Willow in the first couple of laps a few years back. Or maybe it was actually in qualifying. I forget.

We then tagged that oh-so important part of the track from T5 to T6 the GhettoStr8. (There's a Harris Ranch story in there too, if it hasn't already been mentioned in the "world's longest thread.)

Without hesitation having brand-x announcers provide commentary on any F-1 race. Talk about studpid and dangerous

Not mandating HANS in all motor vehicle racing down to the amateur level is right up there.

actually two of the dumbest moves were made by a dumb german boy, Michael S, by name. Not only were these moves dumb, but they showed a nasty side to the driver's personality, which does not appear to have improved over time.
