Default Honda F1 400km/hr run

That must have been one hell of a ride, 400km/hr in an open cockpit.

Editor's Note: This is fast? Champ Cars used to qualify at Fontana on a 2-mile banked track at over 240 mph (over 400 kph - Gil de Ferran in a Honda) and used to hit speeds on the backstraight of 260 mph (over 433 kph). Imagine a Champ Car from that era in a straight line test without the pop-off valve. Can you say 300 mph? How much does an F1 car cost vs. a Champ Car?
I think he's a bit off, 400kph is closer to 249mph. Would still be interesting if Champ Car decided to turn up the boost to the 900hp days and go for a top speed run. Maybe with the new car?

Yessir, give a champ car its boost back, setup a car in superspeedway trim, and 250mph would be absolutlely no problem. Heck, in the late 90's, there were numerous 250 trap speeds at Michigan or Fontana during practice. AVERAGE lap speeds of a tick over 240mph!
