I was just about to post how much fun I had at the Putnam Park Club Race this past weekend. What a great little track. Not a VIR, but clean and manicured lawns with friendly track folks and lots and lots of run off. The Ohio Valley Region ran a great event that was well organized, laid back and high on the fun factor. With the Friday DE, we had close to 7 hours of seat time. 2 Sprint races plus the Top Gun Challenge left us satisfied and exhausted. The heat was incredible, but that was out of their control. Still, the car never ran hot and since the track wasn't hard on brakes, fade was never an issue. I got to run with the big boys and that's pretty eye opening. Nothing like being lapped by a gaggle of GTA, GTC3, GT3S, etc. I felt like the bumble bee being passed by a horde of angry bees Hope I can make it back next year.
