How's that, Bob? A bit to the right of the Big C.
Good advice here, especially from Stacy. The one to really watch is Turn 1. Everyone pays attention to 2 & 4. The turns you really need to watch are the ones that don't nercessarily grab your attention. Turn 1 is not a big deal unless you don't respect it. Then it is a real pecker because there is nowhere to go, and you'll get there really fast! It is the one turn that gets me uptight there. Once you learn the intricacies of 2 & 4, they are not really that tough.
Turn 1 will bite you if you don't take it seriously. Mosport not techincal? High speed tracks have a technicality all their own, friend! Enjoy!

Awesome info guys. I tend to start slow and then work up the speed, and it sounds lke this is a good stragegy for Mosport. That pic is perfect I will keep my eye out for it when I get there, if I didn't know better I would say the camera is tilted.

Just remember, that's exactly the view of 4 that you don't want to have!!
The camera is tilted a bit, the bridge is level, John's coming down the hill there, and then he'll fire off to the right of the picture (Left turn). If you get a chance, walk the track. It only takes about 30-40 minutes, and it will give you a real sense of the terrain and the surface.
Where your TT will shine is on the back straight, it's all uphill and you stay in it forever.

Um, original post is 9 yrs old......still, great useful info as I go there alot. Compared to Mid-O, which in club course guise is roughly the same length (2.4 mi), my 121hp stock car is 5-6 seconds a lap faster. T1,2,4,and 8 are bonafide 100mph corners

Here's a current tip, the 2016 Club Race at Mosport is scheduled for August 5, 6 and 7. It's a great event at a big boy track, Nut up and show up.
