Any recommendations for track wheels?

I like BBS, Fikse and OZ. All are lighter than the OEM wheels, and 18 inchers are definitely the way to go. I don't understand this mania for 19 inch wheels. Rubber weighs less than steel and the only excuse for 19 inch wheels is brakes that are too large to fit inside a smaller rim. Then there is the cost of 19 inch tires! End rant.

Jongbloed are really nice, very light weight and cheaper than some others (like BBS or Fikse). If you believe the marketing, the aero style wheels keep cup car brakes 90 °F cooler than other wheels.

Depends on how deep your pockets are? OEM wheels are the best bang for buck, period. Lots of folks out there "upgrading" their rims which makes for some real values to be had for scavengers like myself. Forged beauties from Kinesis, Fikse, BBS, etc. are obviously going to cost considerably more. 18s cost more than 17s, but under capable hands the performance difference is negligible.

If you do go with lightweight/dedicated track wheels, be sure to pay careful attention to cracking/bending if you spend a lot of time on curbing or have an 'off'.
My Cup car came with 17" BBS 3 pc racing wheels (18# each). I replaced them with OEM Carrera Cup wheels (not easy to find), which are heavier, but I figured if they were good/strong enough for the Carrera Cup series, they're more than good enough for me.

I think you want to look for a wheel with a forged center and a 3 piece design so you can repair them easily when damaged. Fikse, BBS, Kinesis, Foreglines, Jongbloed, all have good options. I would avoid the generic tire rack street wheels which may or may not be able to handle the additional stresses on a racetrack.

I have one set of Turbo twist wheels for practice. Personally, I would love to get rid of these wheels because they are so damn heavy. I also have a set of OEM Sport II wheels that came with my 996. I use these wheels for the street and also double or rain tires when needed. Lastly, I have a set of Fikse FM10 wheels that I absolutely LOVE!!! They are strong, extremely light and look fantastic! I use them for racing.
My next set of wheels will definitely be a set of CCW wheels. Just can't beat the price and they stand by their products very well. I also love the look of them and they are not much heavier than my Fikse wheels.

I have personally seen two Fiske's crack/break on track cars. I know of a third. Not trying to bad-mouth the Fiske's, just stating what I've seen. FWIW, in the two cases I know, the wheels were replaced no questions asked. Fortunately, in both cases, there was no additional damage to the car due to the wheel breaking.
