Could be the light weight John. I corded a set of Hoosiers on my GT3 last fall, but it was after 10 run sessions. That is about all I would get on the Pirellis too.

(that being said, i'm going to try and squeeze 245's on a narrowbody and hoos is the only company w/ that size in 15"... they leave me no choice )

And power... GT3: 400 vs maybe 200 on my SC on a good day... so alot more braking, entry speed and torque under power... just alot more energy overall going into the tires.

}{, let me know if 245s work in back. I have a set of 15X8s and I can't have you running around with more rubber than me. More power, more rubber and talent and I am doomed... Still trying to figure out how to run the 225 in front so I can run the ones from deal you turned me on to all around.

thanks

i feel like a cheat going up in the motor dept.
feels like the 2.4 left me w/ some unfinished business/learning.

as for the front, the 225's work fine on a 7" "as is" but the sidewall looks 'happier' on an 8" used in the back.
(it's also a function of rideheight)

OT: will bring your cooler (not for oil) tonight. thanks.

"By any means posable" Not a cheat at all. If you find yourself in a fair fight you did not plan well. Just one less person I could at least keep on the same lap with. 7s are just right for 225s and 8s are good for 245s. I am going to see if you can do it without smoking the paint off the fenders before I try....

Lime Rock tends to compress times together. Savenor has run a 60 flat, but sure as heck didn't run no 2:06.1 at the Glen. I would guess that Jason could be in the low 2:11s/high 2:10s at the Glen based on his performance at Lime Rock, which would be a great time in a RSA.

If that car is C prepared, it would be a PCA club racing track record. Seems just a little too fast to me, given that very well driven 993RSCS can barely get into the high 2:07s.
