Keep in mind that this year they will require passports. I don't know when the law goes into effect.

I think it's Dec. 31, 2006 for air and sea border crossings, Dec. 31, 2007 for land border crossings. So if you're driving across the border this summer or next, you're ok without a passport.

Thanks again for all the respon ses-- already had the canadian insurance cards and our passports. We'll get a manifest stamped.

Mike--Would love to get some local knowledge about the track. I'll look for you! We have a Guards red 993--#87.

I've never had a manifest stamped. I have been searched at the border and x-rayed.

Do not bring in more than the allowed amount of liquor . . . the duty is pretty expensive.
