Default Do you grease your wheel lugs?

Just wondering what the general consensus is for a track car that has the wheels removed frequently. Do you use any kind of grease or anti-seize on your wheel lugs? Or do you keep them dry?

Just a smidge of anti-seize a couple times a year - keeps your torque values true.

Gosh, I never thought about this. I guess I agree with Mike, though. As an ME, I know that you need a little lubricant to ensure proper torque values.

I use anti-seize. Locktite makes a few good ones but I don't remember the part numbers.

Drop or two of regular motor oil per some of the work shop manuals.

I use a bit of anti-seize once a month or so.

I do eventhough I don't think you are supposed to...except for maybe a drop of oil as Hacker-Pschorr states. If you're super **** retentive you leave it off since grease contributes to over torquing.

I use anti seize to lube things up abit. If you use to much it gets sloppy and it ends up all over your nuts and all around the rim.

One more reason why men should leave the seat up.

I would say if the wheels are removed frequently than no lubrication or anti-seize is necessary. I think it would be more beneficial to use those liquids when the wheels are not changed frequently.

So, it looks like just a dab of lube to achieve proper torque values. But not so much that my nuts get sloppy (not that there's anything wrong with that ) Thanks all !!!
