JC is/will be working on it for me.

I put this together a few weeks back when I was researching the car. It includes video clips of the car racing in the '93 Supercup and some stills from the Supercup and '92 German Carrera Cup.

Just remember, there are no virgins in a titty bar! As you'll see in the video, my buying this car is like I've married a **** star...

Great video & a really great looking car. It will be fabulous in it's original livery. You have me re-thinking my purchase a little. I just hope that all the trick equipment in my RSA can make up for 300 lbs weight. Just got good news though. The heads are done already & the timetable has been moved up. I should know by tomorrow night if Lime Rock is still a possibility.

John Colasante sent me a DVD of the inaugural Supercup in '93.

Larry, good stuff on Lime Rock. We'll hopefully see you there! I'm hoping my car makes it to the dock this week. The progress is so slooooow.

Because that's where a lot of the power is hiding. In order to get these motors to produce, you have to raise the compression to the maximum specified, and if your rings, valves, and heads do not seal properly you are wasting your time. Besides, everything else in the car is perfect so I have to worry about something.

Might as well port and polish while you're in there.

Not legal, wouldn't be prudent. And I already have to deal with Burger looking the car over anyway!

Absolutely correct. The world famous Burger engine build tech inspection is good for ya (plus he knows all the tolerances for the 964s that are legal...).

There was a RSA that was for sale a while ago here on RL (not Larry's) that the guy advertised as "C" legal, yet the build sheet included JE pistons & 993 cams. When I pointed it out, he just changed the ad, but still said C legal
