Great meeting Louis, Pete, and Big Lou for the caravan down. It was funny that along the way we picked up a Boxster and an M3 for our caravan.

Wow, the IMSA Car Corral was GREAT Really got my money's worth out of that When I bought the corral pass I was told that lunch was included, I guess IMSA thinks water is a good diet because that is all that was provided.

Here's Louis leading the way across the Skyway.

and Pete following behind

Would this fit in the back of my Carrera?

Clysdales coming through Turn 17

Debris flag for the Clysdales

PTG BMW M3

In addition to the 3 Carrera GT's in the Porsche Corral we saw this CGT in the paddock. This CGT had a Sunpass toll transponder and radar detector in it, in other words, it was driven to Sebring.

Nice pictures John, It was nice chatting with you guys and driving down together. Are you guys planning on going to the St.Pete Grand prix on any of the days?

Luis,

It was a great day. Don't think we are going to the St Pete Grand Prix. I boycotted last year because of the IRL and idiot Tony George. Thought about going this year to support the event, the St Pete Grand Prix, in case Champ Car and the IRL merge to keep the SPGP on a combined schedule, but going would require more all day baby sitting for the kids. Need to give the in-laws a break.

Are you aware of the Porsche on Parade corral that Bert Smith is sponsoring for parking for the event? Also there is a drawing for a ride in the IRL 2-seater. That would be cool.

John

Yep, I am bringing the 993 to the corral. I will post pics! I am going to try and make it to the Speed Gt races as well.

Nice shots John! The Clydsdale shot with the debris flag (17A) was my Sebring Home for 4 days. We saw the Clysdale's and joked about showing a Surface flag (used to be called a debris flag). Suddenly, Bil Winters jumped out and showed it--everybody cracked up, including the crew collecting the "debris". That's me standing at the wall laughing.
Cheers, Doug
