Default Good Turbo Rebuilder

As in subject.

I want to have a k26 rebuilt with hybrid compressor and turbine.

Any good or bad experiences.

I think you'd want to at a minimum purchase a K27 which has a larger turbine and compressor wheel rather than attempt to improve the 3LDZ stock turbo.

Willard:

Geoffrey offered you some excellent advice; that old 3LDZ is now ancient technology and there are far better options.

The K-27/7200 is a big improvement in every way,...

You know, I have considered this, but I have run my hybrid and tuned to the hybrid and it suits me just fine.

The hybrid makes more CFM at lower pressure than the K27 and spools quicker.

I am also an amateur racer........
