My son's new kart suit for next season (much nicer than mine) just came from Australia:

It was suggested to Scotchgard the suit, to help prevent fuel/oil from soaking into the suit (happens occasionally with the fuel tank between your knees).
Has anyone actually Scotchgarded a (non Nomex) suit?

Wouldn't you be terrified of doing this?
Scotchguard is never as effective on materials - after they are made. (Proof found from professionals - with carpets, fabric for furniture...)
There are many warnings on the can itself (and so many have to do with natural fiber materials).
I don't know what a W or WS fabric is - but how about you consult an expert on this topic... I'd hate to know you are putting something into the natural fibers that might cause an instant blaze...
Scary...
