The 20' Featherlite sounds like a deal, if I had the money and could sell my Pace (steel) I would jump on it.

No, just steel chassis. The gridwork, box and sides/doors are all aluminum. His weighs 3700. Quite a bit less than a equal length Haulmark. Also it is a 24ft, not 20ft, I mispoke.

I have just gone through the same process of deciding what to buy. I currently tow a 20' enclosed haulmark with a V-8 Touareg with no problem. I figure I weight about 7000# fully loaded.

I decided upon a 20' V-nosed ATC all aluminum. The ability to easily customize the design on the internet and also price it on line was great. I believe it will tow about the same as the steel/alum haulmark. You do have to be careful towing with a shorter WB. I have had a 2dr tahoe, a 4 dr tahoe and a suburban and they all tow pretty well but you can't run 75 or 80.
