PCA weight for the 993

Now that looks cool! Just as soon as they add ballast for the driver, I'm onna git me one. I don't think that a 6'1" 250 lb driver is the hot setup for those, though. I need torque!

Um... there are plenty of 250# SRF drivers. And the car minimum weight *does* include driver, unlike PCA, so you can lose all the ballast, grind down the bodywork, etc. And the class is all about being fast *without* torque.

Robert,

Were you racing in the Double National race this weekend? I was doing some testing at the T&T on Thursday and saw some nice looking SRF's there. Maybe one day.

Yup, didn't get there 'till Friday morning, though.. Had a great weekend of racing. The new Goodyear slick is a big step up for the class, and the new cutout on the sides of the rear clip make the car look better *and* easier to work on.

Robert, I meant that I needed torque to get my heft going. If all weights are equal, I don't care what the motor has. It's just that when you start out 70-100 lbs heavier than the next car, torque helps make up for that, hp doesn't, but thats a whole 'nother topic.
