Race car hire (europe) to do enduro races
an anyone help with leads/links?
my father and a partner are looking to hire a racecar (fully prepared, turn up and drive) to do 1-2 enduro type races in europe at end of 2006, start of 2007.
ideally the car would be either a BMW or a porsche but are casting a wide net at this stage.
i want to get him onto a nurburgring/spa enduro but again they are casting a wide net.
both drivers have experience driving both GT3 Cup cars and full works BMW M3's.
any help would be greatly appreciated,

most of the top VLN (German Endurance Racing Championship at the Nürburgring) teams have race hire packages, however they do expect drivers to be able to drive.
If you care to send me a message, we can communicate off list and I can suggest which teams might be suitable. One of my friends has rented this year and even in his first season racing he has been having top ten finishes in the VLN.

There is a group that rents out a tube framed vw bug body spec racer out of england. The race where apparently close to 50 of these cars race in is the 24 hours of Spa . Don't remember link , but try google 24 hours spa, vw spec race

Try Chrzanowski Racing - http://www.rent-a-racecar.de. Gunther Chrzanowski is a great person and a great driver. He has one RSR and 2 996 Cup cars as well as a 993 Cup Car. All in immaculate shape. I believe Gunther won the Pirelli GTP Series this year. I was able to spend a weekend with the team at Circuit Prenois in Dijon, France for the 16-18 Sept round of the GTP. The whole team is great and the mechanics, cars and drivers I met were all top-notch.
