Hey, I'm famous. Yep, thats my car. Ran a few races with it this past season. Cory actually ran it up to 3rd at the opening round at Daytona. Managed a few decent finishes. Unfortunately, we never got to run the car with the 3.6L engine we installed after Laguna Seca because of a little off-track excursion at Barber that more or less ended my season due to repair costs. Oh well, thats racing.

If anyone is interested, that car is for sale with a brand new 3.6L engine (about 1 hour on it total). Since my Rennlist membership still isn't showing up on the board, I can't make a for sale post but if anyone is interested, drop me a line. I'm sure arrangements could be made with Gordon to run the car next season with the Autometrics guys and as I'm sure everyone on here knows, there isn't a better bunch of guys to race with.

Hey, didn't some instructor point out that you shouldn't leave your hand on the shifter between shifts?!?

Kidding aside, that was a great ride

Hi Leh,
That is a hell of a busy track, lots of compromises. Shows much more on in-car than TV coverage.

Man...and I thought The Glenn was tight! Not much room for error at all.

Leh, did you all finish 3rd for the season?

Actually, the car that is for sale on the Autometrics website is the car that Cory and Leh ran in the Rolex series this year. It's a GT3 Cup car.

Mine is a 2001 996 converted to a 3.6L engine and set up to run in the Grand-Am CUP class. There are a few pictures of mine on their site however.

Interesting below is what a New GTO cost. Vs Leh's 2005 car' posted selling price.
Sorry to say this Leh but unless GM's finacial troubles make them pull in thier horns (iIe stop buying Ads on Frances's speed channel) Porsche is racing for 2nd in Grand Am next year
I got to look this car over at VIR, built by Pratt&Miller the builders of the AmLaMans Vetts. Nothing about it resembles a production car, Engine and everything else has been lowered and moved back at least 8"

A complete vehicle (excluding engine management and data system) will be offered to customer teams for $275,000 with a required spares package (suspension, body and driveline components) for an additional $100,000.
(Gee guys button up your shirt your hart is falling out, no enginge magnagement and data for 275K?? WTC)
Autometrics car for sale
2005 GT3 Cup, 3rd in 2005 Grand Am GT Championship
Available in Multiple Trim Packages $125,000 - $148,000
