Lime Rock Rox!!!!
Just back from my second DE. What a wonderful day, sunny and 70 degrees in November ! In short this short track is alot of fun to drive. While I was still in the Green Group, it appeared that by the end of the day I was too fast and being held up. My last lap session was a surprise as the starter waved me on the track w/o an instructor. Not sure if it was by accident or by plan. Other than the fact I have immensley improved since my first day at the Glen in the rain, I had the opportunity to have a Farnbacher Loles associate/racer(spencer c) instruct me for one of the sessions. It was awesome. Even better, he asked me if I wanted to go out with him in the Black Group. I said sure !!!!! A full 944 turbo race car, 650hp, slicks ect. He was doing consistent 58 sec laps with one in the 57's. Not bad considering ALMS Porsche's are qualifying at around 58 or 59 sec when they race there. Talk about violence driving at those speeds... and the G's ???? Ohh my my... I am hopelessly hooked now and look forward to many events next year. It was nice to meet Jeresey Bean from this forum. ciao for now...thanks for hearing my most pleasureable rant. Time to drink !!!

It is not relatively affordable to buy anything "race prepped"...
