I've got OMP polepositions. I prefer them over the Alpinestars which didn't fit my hands as well (even the XL was too tight when making a fist, the OMP's are more stretchable). Thet are made of quality materials and have the reverse stiching, etc. I bought them at Saferacer on closeout for $59, but it looks like the price is back up to $119.

Good point Corey. I have found a number of gloves that i like from a material and construction standpoint, but only a couple that fit correctly. I wouldn't change brand/model of glove without trying them first.

I needed new gloves this summer and purchased Carbon-X gloves. Read about them here: http://www.ringersgloves.com/products_motorsports.asp. I'm really happy with them and they are available from many race suppliers.

I purchased the new Sparcos noted previously, great glove. However, I did find that you need to try the glove on when your hands are hot. A pair that fit fine in the shop was a bear to get on in the heat of the day. From my experience if they fit snug in the shop I'd go up a size for typical track conditions.

k, u guys may laugh, but my favorite gloves in the whole wide world are military issue flight gloves. I've got a pair of short Canadian issue brown gloves, and a pair of long, USAF issue green gloves.

Made of form fitting antistatic NOMEX® - heat and fire resistant to 700° F. Durable, premium grade leather palm and fingers. Excellent thermal protection. Trigger finger stitching for additional grip and cutting locations that prevent unraveling. Unlike issued low-bid versions, exclusive additional elastic gather on glove back holds it snug in tactical situations. Protective overcuff. Washable. All gloves meet military specification MIL-G-181188B.

• Form fitting Nomex® with soft, durable leather palm
• Trigger finger stitching for extra grip.
• Double stitched patterns
• Heat & Fire resistant to 700° F
• Excellent thermal protection

• Available in sizes: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12

(You can also get them in Long, or Short gauntlets. Military issue gloves also come with a nomex inner lining!)

The only two reverse stitched gloves that Sparco makes are the x-pro & the fast tech. I have the fast tech ones.

My OMPs have soft leather palms with suede inserts. They feel great on both suede and leather steering wheels. I've tried on those Sparco X-pros as well, very nice gloves.

cory-

which do you like better- those sparcos or omp?

slightly off topic, but does an endorsement like schumacher have any weight behind it for the omp's? in fact, do you think he actually chooses the omp, or did they come up with the most dough? (i know the gran premio are designed for, or by, or with the help of him)
