Question On track fatality at NHIS

Heard some talk at work today about an on track fatality this past Friday at NHIS at a BMW track event?
Anyone else heard any details?
Unfortunately, it seems as though we have had far too many of these this season.

There was a bit of discussion on it in https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-and-drivers-education-forum/235388-yadea.html

I haven't gotten any further detail and have heard some conflicting reports as to what happened. Been a tough year in the NorthEast.

The latest "unofficial" word is that it looks like the driver had a heart attack and went into the wall without slowing down.

That sounds eerily similar to the Boxster incident/fatality at WGI this summer.
My condolences to families
