Ok, cool. I think, costs aside, DV cam is the way to go.

if you just want a simple High Def solution for dirt cheap (only records for 1 hr) that is absolutely brainless try the Flipcam. (I have a couple just bc its sooo easy - often use them in conjunction with other cameras

I truthfully am looking for a better data acquisution system at the moment.
